1.      Vote to accept the minutes of the Regular meeting held May 7, 2014.

2.      Vote to accept the minutes of the Special & Telephonic meeting held June 30, 2014.

3.      Vote to accept the minutes of the Regular meeting held August 7, 2014.

4.      Vote to open the meeting to the public.

5.      Vote to accept Chief Michael Maniago’s Report for July 2014. (not available)

6.      Vote to accept Officer Steven Pisarski's Traffic Operations Unit Report for July 2014.

7.      Vote to accept the recommendation of the Traffic Operations Unit to increase the parking rate to $1.00 per hour on city streets and $.50 per hour in city-owned parking lots.

8.      Vote to accept Fire Chief Brunoli's Report for July 2014.

9.      Vote to accept the Emergency Management Report for July 2014.

10.     Vote to accept Deputy Fire Chief Pepler's Report for July 2014.

11.     Vote to accept Fire Marshal Tharau's Report for July 2014.

12.     Vote to accept Training Officer Tripp's Report for July 2014.

13.     Vote to accept the EMS Provider Activity Report for July 2014.

14.     Vote to add Section B to the agenda.

Section B
15.     Vote to approve the Fire Chief’s request to waive the bid process, and retain the services of Rafferty Fine Grading, Inc. of Enfield, CT and O & G Industries, Inc. of Torrington, CT  for reclaiming, grading and paving the parking lot and driveway areas at Fire Headquarters for a projected cost of $96,323.68 plus any storm drain repairs, pending City Council approval on September 15, 2014.

16.     Vote to enter Executive Session regarding Personnel.

17.     Vote to enter Open Session.

18.     Vote to hire a probationary police officer.

19.     Vote to consider business by Department Heads.

20.     Vote to consider business by Volunteer Fire Departments.

21.     Vote to consider business by Mayor and members of the Board of Public Safety.   

22.     Adjournment.
